NIFT

NIFT is the pioneering institute of fashion education in the country and has been in the vanguard of providing professional human resource to the textile and apparel industry. With small beginnings in 1986, NIFT today runs several undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes. The Association of NIFT Alumni (NIFTA) is working with NIFT to:
– re-evaluate the curriculum and bring about other course-corrections
– build linkages between students and the industry for projects, entrepreneurship and employment
– provide industry-inputs through lectures and courses taught by NIFTA members

AEPC

AEPC was incorporated in1978, as the official body of apparel exporters in India that provides invaluable assistance to Indian exporters as well as importers/ international buyers who choose India as their preferred sourcing destination for garments.

As AEPC works on setting up processes and intense programs of mobilizing re-commitment to meet stepped-up global and national targets, it has also been focusing on growing India’s strategic export partnerships by striking roots in new soils and making India stronger in the ones where we have been around for years.
